On Saturday we continue a festive tradition of May Fair! Bring the whole family for May-Pole Dancing, Crafts, Entertainment, and of course Refreshments! Join us at The Pittsburgh Waldorf School in Friendship for Spring family festivities from 11-4pm!
Cap off the weekend on Sunday for volunteer days at the Farm! Join Meg and Michelle in the Gardens at 11am-4pm for some hands on Healcrest Farm!

We welcome you to join us in the Healcrest orchard for this series of Yoga 1 practicum classes. Join us at 7pm Tuesdays and Wednesdays in September.
This moderately-paced class will include sun salutations and a wide range of standing and seated postures designed to increase strength, balance and flexibility. For new students with good physical health. Bring water to drink and mat and/or blanket is recommended.

We loved Natalya’s Fermentation class. A great mix of academics and adventure!
Pickles, kefir, and sourdough, fermentation was a taste explosion for the food daring! Natalya provided simple home kitchen techniques for delicious preservation.

Where does all your food waste go? Would you rather have it be beneficial waste instead? In this workshop you will be introduced to a few easy methods for turning food scraps into soil, or composting, in dense spaces.
Whether you have a huge yard or none at all you will go home with a method or modified method that will work for you. We will explore bin, trench, and vermi-compost. You will also have the opportunity to take part in our Healcrest Compost program, where your waste is our treasure.
Dana Launius will share her experience and love of sustainable living in this fun and educational series. Simple techniques for a waste-resource lifestyle. Each participant will leave with some materials to get their compost started or enhanced! Bring water to drink and come prepared to get icky!
